The amazing effects that come from firing these pieces using the raku technique include: blackening of unglazed surfaces, crack in the glaze and occasional body, and metallic or muddled surface colorings. They are intentional and make each piece special and unique but they also make them vulnerable.
If you need to wash your sculptural object, please wash it gently by hand using non-abrasive normal dish soap. Do not scrub at the surface effects, and do not apply vinegars or other corrosive agents.
Do not leave this object outside through all seasons.
